What do I want?

I want what’s for me

I want to feel like I can finally breathe

Right now I'm drowning

Floating just below the surface

Gasping as I bob up and down

Wondering if it might be easier

To stop resisting the pull

Stop fighting so hard

Just let the rip tide carry me
