Saw shiny things and veered off course

No map, no guide, just trying to force

My way through the wilderness

Turns out the shimmer was just a reflection 

Of something that no longer is,

Something that became a distraction

Instead of steadying my heart to go all in

How do I find my way back?

Does that path still even exist?

Will it still lead where I want it to go?

Do I even know where that is?
